Shubhavi's debut film as an animator premiered at the Viborg Animation Festival, Denmark and Golden Snail International Film Festival, Serbia when she was only 12 years old. Her debut film as a director "Adventures of Malia" was notably screened at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival, 11th REDCAT International Chilldren's Film Festival, Children's Film Fest Seattle and the Chiyoko International Children and Youth Film Festival, Switzerland.
